Scottish contemporary instrumental folk trio ‘Assynt’ @assyntmusic perform live on stage at The National Piping Centre @nationalpipingcentre as part of Glasgow’s world-famous week long celebration of bagpiping, Piping Live! Festival 2025. TRADtv caught up with the guys fresh off stage to discuss their music and the significance of this annual festival of piping.
The band is made up of former BBC Radio Scotland Young Musician of the Year finalists, Graham Mackenzie (fiddle) and David Shedden (pipes/whistles) alongside BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award winner Innes White (guitar).
